Started the day at 10:00 on the boat messing around. Then, I met up with Merit and Denyz (BassFishingWA) at 10:30. It was pretty cold, we could see our breath all day. We bass fished everywhere on the lake. We threw plastic lizards, crankbaits, topwaters, everything in the tackle box until about 2:30. Then we found some Yamamoto plastic craws and got three not-quite-dinks-but-not-quite-solid fish total in half an hour before they had to leave. One for me and two for Merit. Poor Denyz. Maybe tomorrow at the *secret* lake. Merit, Denyz and their parents decided to go to the Husky game to see some American football before they go home to Germany. I met up with bassackwards (Hey Jon!) at the boat launch and we went back out on the boat for some more fishing. No bites, but it was good to meet him. I left the lake at about 4:00.

well at least you got out to fish. i stayed home due to rain. but beaver just doesnt provide enough hogs just a bunch of 2lbs with an occasional 4lb, thats why i dont waste my time there. but i think the more you fish it, eventually you'll find one there...all lakes have a hog in it if theres bass. just got to put in your time i guess...Big props for fishing under these conditions. This coming up week looks to provide decent weather to get in a day or 2 out to try to get 1 last hog!
