The weather decided to wait a day before dumping on us so I headed out for some late season bass fishing. First time on McMurray so I was looking forward to it. Put the boat in the water and made my first cast - bamm! a nice start- 14" bass on a floating yellow minnow. "This could be a good sign" I said to myself. Well, it wasn't and it was. Over the next 2 1/2 hrs I boated four more LMB, all smaller than the first, all on floating minnow baits. Nothing else was working. So I can't say it was great fishing, but it was a nice morning to be on the water and I got some video shot for a future lake video. Spoke with two trout anglers who hadn't had much luck. Passing over the bridges the rivers all looked blown out, BTW.
