Im trying to get into that contest going over in the forum. The Thumb isn't, but I am. We have been changing tactics, trying different things I read and ideas one or the other has. These have been productive. My personal favorite is trolling a plug directly in the propwash of the trolling motor, 30 feet behind the boat. I didn't think it'd work either, but it sure did. The BIG crappie in the photo is the one it hooked.

We were working the area initially because I hooked the big perch, but that's where the pig crappies were caught also. That and a LUNKER squaw.

I sure wish I was a bass fisherman.

If you can do that well bass fishing as you did with the crappie and perch, you could go pro. Careful, once you start bass fishing, it's a total addiction. LOL
