went over for a couple days to do a little pre-fishing for the dock tournament. fishing was slow as it was still recovering from the big winds the past week. did get quite a few crappie , most were under the 9" minimum but probably 5 were keepers (all released). the perch were thick which was really good to see, the habitat project is really starting to show some results. only hooked into 1 good sized bass about 3lbs on a spinnerbait real early in the morning. i also got a few 10"ers on some of Daniel T's dropshot worms (the perch liked em too).

you guys are so going doing at the tournament next weekend, i found some good patterns so I'll be ahead of the game :)

good job on the bass! as far as, the going doing. is that going down? would you like to put a lil 50 push-up side wager on the biggest crappie? bass? trout? that would be 150 push-ups possible! you got a little head start with the pre-fishing, but ive fished potholes for 30 years, so, its about even. let me know? also, we have a $5.00 side pot for biggest/most fish. let me know if you want in. the pot runs up to $600 or so. the winds always come during dove season, so, we should be hitting it right at the peak of fall bite.

i'm not sure about the push-ups man, that seems like to much work for fishing. i'd be up for a side bet with you though for biggest crappie, perch, bluegill, and bass... i'd be willing to put down $5 for each.

UH OH, the last thing I wanted was the crappie king to get a lil pre fishing in. Nice crappie by the way. I still think you should focus more on bass LOL.

michaelunbewust, I want to be a part of that $5 side bet, but how do you keep track of the most fish of each species?

the $5.00 pot is for biggest overall/ and most fish. the most fish is counted daily, and you have to have a witness( 1 can tell a fish tale, but the other knows the truth!HA!.
i am in campsite e-2 i believe, but i will post the exact campsite. anybody is welcome in the 2 $5.00 pots. we also have room for 1 to ride over the mountain, and up to 3 more at campsites close to dock and launch. you can pm me here or michaelunbewust@yahoo.com. ck14, i think you may whup me on the crappie, i havnt fished much for them this year, but all the other species, i may do allright in. ITS GOING TO BE NICE TO MEET ALOT OF YOU FISHERPEOPLE FOR THE FIRST TIME! SEE YA THERE!!
