Tried to hit the county park this morning, got to the gate at 6:15am, CLOSED! Well a good thing can't last forever, unless you marry her! (maybe I can fish tomorrow too!). Kenny and I only had until 10am then we had to get on our way to his soccer game (which they won!). We finally got the boat in the water around 6:45 started fishing about 7:00 for Muskies no luck, not even a follow. Kenny switched over to smallies after about 20 minutes and got the first one to the boat about 7:30 it was his best. It hit on a natural colored tube about 14ft of water. I tossed my tandem musky buck for an hour straight with out anything, figured they went deeper so I tossed out my DT10 and got nailed by a fat 2lber, that was it for me also. We had a great time, but you know how time flies when your having fun!!

Ken,
I was only able to get the Park boat launch hours early through Labor Day. Now it's back to 8am opening. Denny(park manager)does this for us fishermen because during the summer his worker start early.
Hopefully I can get them to agree to this again next year.

Mark- it was so cool all summer, thanks!
Denny (park manager) if your reading...if i would of had to pay to launch this year I would of been broke! I wouldn't have been able to make it out there half as many times. Here's my huge THANK YOU!!!
