Wow, my second adventure with my fishing canoe. I used a Trout Magnet under an E-Z Float (see my Round lake report for 9-1-07.) Hit the water about 7:00 and what a nice day for fishing! I paddled directly across from the boat launch where the airplane is docked and caught a trout about the size of my finger on the first cast. I worked my way toward the bridge and caught a mess of fish. I did go to Round, but barely got into it and got called away for family business. I did fish the docks at the Moose Lodge and caught a few crappie. A "moose" on the dock told me that the brown trout and coming in at the creek on the other end of the lake, but that is just too far for this old cowboy to paddle...maybe when I get an electric motor.
I released them all except the biggest (6") trout, because "Bass are toys n trout and gills are food"

I tried to keep them alive in a bucket, changing the water once in a while and keeping it shaded from the sun, but they did not all make it back into the water. I had to bring home fish for lunch!
