Hit the lake this morning with Fishnislife, I wanted to see if I could put him on a musky or at least show him one in the wild with a "follow". Well this day turned into one of my most active days fishing for muskies (lucky for him!). At 7:30 I hooked into this 42.5x19 (19.15lbs) right at the boat after a follow ten minutes earlier. Then at 9:20 I hooked into another as big or bigger on a full cast and fought him back to the boat, under the boat, back out, only for him to roll one time and spit the hook right at the net! Between 10 and noon Lifer had 2 follows all the way to the boat, one which chased his figure 8 for about 45seconds then disappeared (shucks!!). Fishnislife is a trooper, tired that he was he never quit, he finally managed to get his first Musky, though not "legal keeper size", 28.5x13 (6lbs), it is a keeper for the picture book!! Great job, and congratulations!! Kenny says, "Welcome to the Musky Club!" Another highlight from today is I got my first ever Largemouth from Lake Tapps!! Very small 8-10in., but it was a LM! I also got 4 Smallies biggest being 2.5lbs and smallest still over 12". Lifer kicked up a perch by accident and landed a couple of distracting smallies. I think Lifer may be ready to hit it again before the adrenalin wears off, or he forgets how fun and exciting it really was!!!!!!! Here's the Muskies, hope you all give these fish a chance!

Sounds like you guys had a great day of multispecies fishing with the tigers being the icing on the cake. I'm excited to hear that you caught a largemouth too. I didn't think there were any in Tapps but I've hoped there would be. Congrats Fishinislife on the muskie and it's great to get to put a face with your handle since we aren't going to make the BBQ this year. We really wanted to but we're in the Mayfield tourny. Both of you keep up the good fishing and thanks for the pictures.

Amazing day! If I was to pay someone to be a guide on Tapps, it would be Kenster. The real muskie man. First time ever fishing for muskies and he puts on the fish. Two follows by monster muskies that had commitment ussies and one smaller brave one for my first muskie. AWESOME for sure. Can't wail to do it again and try for a 40"+ fish. It was insane to watch Ken hook into that big muskie (and lose another bigger one). Great day fishing with a brutha from another motha. Thanks bro.
