me and 1 buddie hit newman bout 6;30 pm. started throwin a purple yammamato sinko around on drops and deep weed lines WHACK wasnt there 5 minutes land nice solid 3 pounder, WHACK , WHACK , WHACK started just pounding on 1 to 3 pound fish must of caught 7 or 8 fish lost 5 or 6 more had at least 12 bites i missed. weird thing was that a thunderstorm rolled through, thunder lightning I figured the fish would be hunkered down so hard you couldn't get a bite , boy just shows you how wrong you can be!!! they bit as I fast as i could get in the water, most bites almost instantly after first sink.this was one of very few times in my life i have actually caught squatting during a storm front, the only times in my whole life that stick out for really doing good for bass in bad rainy weather was once at hayden throwing rapalas and once at hauser right after a terrible squall throwin plastics, I will definitely recommend throwin plastics from now on in these types of weather, ok well I will try again to put the pics i got last night on here and see if i screw it up again!! all fish released except for one 2 pounder which insisted on swallowing will be lunch today :( good fishing to all and may the good lord bless yer socks off!!!!

I believe I'm going to begin fishing with my old techniques again.. I caught a whole helluva lot more fish then trying the bish style haha... One of the best parts of fishing is that everyone can have thier own style and techniques that work for them and if yours are completely valid and work perfectly for you then all the more power to you brother!......bastard

2 pounder - hmmmm - Most 2 pound largemouths will be about 15 inches which is smack dab in the middle of the slot limit. Don't blame you for keeping a mortally wounded fish but watch out for the warden.
