Fished in the afternoon between 1:00 and 3:00 from my little boat with my two kids (ages 2 & 4). We had fun catching several bluegill, a few perch, and a couple bass. Unfortunately they were all too little for keeping. They were biting on earthworms mostly and pretty much immediately after hitting the water. I got a few to bite on plastic worms, but it seemed like I was only getting one shot to hook them that way. With the real worms they would try again if I couldn't hook them the first time. We were fishing on the south side up against the shore where there is some old timbers in the water under a tree hanging out over the water. The water was only a few feet deep, but there seemed to be lots of little fish crammed in there. It was a sunny, warm day, with a few clouds so the visibility was going up and down quite a bit. There wasn't very many people out on boats fishing, it seemed like most were on the shore. I'd like to hear how those people did. All in all, it was a nice day. First time my kids got to reel in a fish themselves!
