Went to Round Lake early this morning with my cousin Lyndon. Tried jigs off the bottom for a while, but never got anything but 1 take down. Lyndon finally caught a 1/4lb bass which gave him a decent fight and then to my surprise. I had snagged the bottom right beside the first damn, and as i was ripping and trying to get it off. I guess I hooked some1 else's pole. So I reeled up a broken pole and reel. My pictures might not be very good, because I wanted to release her fast, so that she wouldn't experience any trauma. All together it was a pretty nice day. Wish we could have had a few more bites tho. Might try again Sunday night, tight lines.

Ya, we had fun that on Saturday, but i dont understand why we cant hook the fish that bite our jigs, if any1 has any advice for me or Lyndon. Plz let us know, ok thx

yea seriously when ever i use jigs i get huge slams but they either don't actually take it or i am to slow to set the hook

thats hilarious...my freind droped his pole in the water right there..was it red..a shakspeaar mantis .?????

ya im pretty sure it was red I looked at it before he throw it back into the water. lol

Im not sure what color it was because it was covered in crap off the bottom of the lake and it was real stinky. Put up a good fight tho =P
