finally got the chance to fish with the1fishingpro and his cousin today after weeks of talking. we first started on the round lake side fishing with plastic lizards and did not catch anything. we left that spot and went over to the lacamas side and tried multiple lures and again got nothing. we tried spinner baits, poppers, plastics, top-water lures, rapalas, and multiple crank-baits. i guess it just was not a good day because i have always at least caught at least one small largemouth. i had a great time on the lake with these guys and hope to do it again very soon. (sorry i couldn't get you a plastic lizard bass Keith) by the way the "10 pound bass" caught earlier this week is already getting some fishing pressure because i personally saw at least 3 people on the camas heritage dock just fishing for him, once i starting talking about it the randomly spat out different facts about Brian f.'s lure choice ha ha

Max, you really need to fish from a boat to do well at Lacamas. The shoreline is too limitting to fish well. When you guys were fishing from the dock, there was no way a bass would be there with that one guy playing fetch with his black lab on one side and the loading and unloading of boats on the other. That's why I was helping my daughter catch perch and bluegill. Did you see all those yearling bass next to the dock? They would have ducked for cover if a decent bass was nearby and not just hung out in the open sunning themselves.

We did catch four 10" bass from the mill pond next to Round Lake, however. Two hit a 1/4oz spinnerbait, one hit a Scumfrog, and one hit a small Zoom Fluke. Those fish were suicidal. They seemed to wrestle the lure until they finally managed to hook themselves. It was funny to watch.

Maybe when I get back from my Florida trip we can hook up and I can take you out to better areas in the lake.

ya, fishing with max was quite fun actually, i actually enjoyed talking to someone that know almost as much about fishing as I do. Too bad my cousin broke my damn pole tho, but at least every1 got a good laugh out of it lol. So, Cavdad45... were u there the same time as us? I remember some guy and his kids at the end of the dock, who knew it was you? well, altogether it was a great day to be at the lake, just not a great time to be there i guess.
