We started with the usual power bait at the bottom, the fish were taking it on the way down. Even though the lake is very low, the fishing was great! Before we limited using bait, we switched to trolling a froggy flatfish. What fun! the trout were after that too. But they were all the regular clone fish. About 10-11 in. So my buddy said he knows a hole where bigger fish have been before. He was right. I got two 15in while he was still taking in the clones.
The weather was cool but, the fishing was hot. I have another trip planned in June. Maybe it will be more challenging then!
