Great week, even though the bass are getting worse. 1 a week two years ago, 3 last year, now the whole first day brought in only bass using flies that usually take trout. Changed to a #10 pale green Damselfly Nymph on Monday and started hitting rainbows.. All week, mostly 18-20" rainbows, with one over 21". The smallest rainbow was 11", indicating the bass are killing off all the smaller trout. It probably won't help much, but keep all Bass you catch. It's too bad this is happening to such a great Rainbow lake. I'll be back to catch and release the big ones, but there aren't many small ones to become the next generation.
