Got on the lake about 9 30 am, fished till about 10 30 am, figured we try going fly fishing since we just caught a few small ones, anyway to get to the point. CAR WAS BROKEN INTO, window smashed, glass all over the car, everything stolen. there were people fishing by the launch, but boaters have to park in the top lot, nobody reported hearing anything, this happens VERY OFTEN HERE. disappointing, but never going back

in the past i have talked to a game warden, who said " its too bad, but its a common occurrence here. sometimes two or three break ins a day.

Wow! I feel for ya Man. Had it happen to me years ago at a different lake. What a shame. A nice new launch area that anglers are reluctant to use because of a few sticky fingered jerks.

Someone needs to stake the place out for a day, hopefully with a firearm. Give the ice heads something they deserve, hot steel. :)

Man o Man , i know all about it , my window was busted at Beaver Lake parking lot about a month ago .. i know how you feel right now ...and the sad part about it is that there is nothing you can really do except not going back to this lake .. and that makes it even worse .. when i saw my window i just stood there in shock for like 20 minutes , called the police and they had me give them a report over the phone "just for insurance reasons" ..they didnt care about the crime ... My advise from a guy who had the same thing happen is to just keep your head up and dont allow yourself to stay pissed off for to long ...sorry Man !!

Littleriver is right.......... maybe not as armed vigilantes but there are plenty of places to sit out of view to watch. leave a car as bait and block the thiefs exit after they are confronted. Take pictures and have a cell to call 911 immediately as you go to confront the jerks. I live locally and the meth heads have ruined this area. can't even have mail delivered to your house anymore as they steal everything. Maybe a group of us should go park our boats in front of the sheriffs precinct off Weyerheauser and Meridian at Barneys corner.... or meet them one morning as they go for breakfast at the bakery in Eatonville..... do a little civil protest to force them to take action as this situation is out of hand. Darn frustrating and a tremendous waste of our tax dollars (you can determine what is the waste as it is more than just the empty boat launch)

Same folks are responsible for much of the junked vehicles and old meth cookers dumped along Orville Road and on other roads. They are weak drug addicts and some concerted efforts would make them move on. They want to hide in the shadows and not be seen......... expose them and they run.

I agree with you rubioloco, but if your going to block the access, take pictures and call 911 you should be packing a piece because things are bound to get ugly.

What the State needs to do is mount a camera on a 30ft pole overlooking this area, It could even run on solar power, Hell, it doesn't even really have to work, the meth heads wouldn't know any different. Unfortunately, the geography of this area is ideal for these idiots, and there is very litttle even the P.C. Sherrifs dept. could do, I won't fish at this spot for these reasons, even though it is great that they finally put a nice public launch in. With plenty of other decent lakes to fish in the area, unless your a bank maggot, it's not worth it,
