Went to Silver lake at 8:30 AM. Saw lots of little trout and fry. Tried buzzbaits, crankbaits, frogs, spinbaits, and not even a bite. I tied the the trusty old Senko in my favorite color and tossed around some logs and docks. The first bite I got was the only fish all day. I got a nice 3+ lb largemouth that broke the tip of my new rod, good thing joe's has a nice return policy. It was fun. No other fish from the trout guys. Lots of mayflys.
