First trip to the pens, won't be my last. Started out slow but later in the evening the bite was on and we hammered them. There were 4 of us out there, not sure how many fish we caught total but we each kept 2. Out of the 8 fish, 5 were over 5lbs. Can't complain about that.

I just have to ask. Which pens were you near? I've launched at the state park and its a bit of a drive to the first set of pens. Thanks for your help..

I couldn"t tell you which set of pens I was near. It was my first time there and I am not familiar with the area, but it wasn't that far from where we launched.
