Went out today to try and get some fish, but upon arrival I saw some signs stating that there has been toxic algae found and it is advised not to fish or swim here until everything clears up. So it seems as if fishing there isn't that good of an idea right now.

It is a juvenile fishing lake anyway. No adults allowed.

WAcatcher,
You may have the wrong lake and meant Wapato lake. I don't believe your correct on that, the 2007-2008 pamphlet says nothing about this lake being for juvenile's only, and I checked the emergency rules for this lake and there isn't any. I've been fishing this lake for quite some time and have always seen adults out there fishing away. I've also seen wildlife personnel out there and never once have they stopped any of us from fishing.

hey catcher, great assumption on Crone being over the juvenile age...if everyone jumped to those types of conclusions i could of been legally drinking at 14 just because i parked a car in the bar parking lot!!

Crone, if you here the lake clears up post it I'm sure there are both adults and CHILDREN that read these reports and fish this lake.

Waughop is not an juvenile's only, but Wapato lake is. I have been fishing Waughop for years and I always see other adults there as well. Game warden has never said anything to me.
