Me and my buddy hit Lake Armstrong around 9:30 A/M. We had just stopped by Lake Cassidy to do some fishing but that North wind made it very difficult because we fish in rubber rafts, and it just so happened that we forgot that anchor that day so we decided to go to a more covered lake. Anywho we arrived at Lk Armstong. There was 1 guy fishing from shore and he had no luck yet, and There was a 1 boat with a couple kids in it trolling I saw them bring on in. I went to my special spot on the right side of the lake. I noticed that the fish were in the shallows they were hugging the shoreline, So I decided to throw a baby crawler with no weight, Like always It pays off First cast I pitch it out let it sink by itself and then slowly retrieve with an occasional jig BAM i get a largemouth about 11 or 12 inches. Then a couple cast later I throw it out a little deeper toward a fallen tree and Wam I get a big fat triploid. To make a long story short We where there for about 2 hours and I landed 2 large mouth and 1 trip, and lost a couple other Largies, I Had no clue that Largemouth were there until my friend told me! My friend was completly skunked. hahahah.... sorry no pic of largemouths my phone died.
