My buddy and I arrived at Mayfield on Thursday a.m. and fished through wind, rain, and more rain. The lake was a mess with floating debris everywhere. The lake was up about 1 or 2 feet higher than normal with a temperature of about 62 degrees and visibility sucked. Not knowing if they were holed up somewhere or suspending, we tried everything from deep divers to topwater just trying to locate the tigers. Finally on Friday evening, my buddy caught a nice muskie with a shallow diving crankbait that measured close to 42". Finally started seeing more and more of them and than on Saturday , I caught this one with a bucktail. The ONLY nice thing about getting rained on the whole time was the recreational boat traffic was slim to none. Both tigers were proudly CPR'd with no problems.
