Hey kids,
Me and fellow NW Tiger Pac member Mark H.headed out to try our luck for Tigers.Got on the water about 6:30 a.m. Mark was just happy to be out fishing for Skies again. It had been quite awhile he told me......Well then my job for the day was to get him over a fish. Kinda a hard task considering this great Washington weather we had been having as of late..Any way, Took awhile but he had a nice follow on the South side of Banks Isle..again a nice solid fish..40 inch range. But couldn't get the bugger to commit. Mark was happy just to see a Tiger! Hit a bunch of different spots. Not much action though. Waterskiers were very quiet today. Got the opportunity to meet a youngster out there today that had seen some Tigers near his dock..Probably 10 years old..asked us what we used for bait. I showed him the bucks we were throwin..he was like wow!! I gave him a couple of little #3 sized Mepps spinners and a wire leader. Made his day!! That was cool. Mark and I headed over to Dike 4, saw Brett out there in the morning he had a couple of follows. Figured we'd hit it just to see..Saw a nice 40 or so inch Tiger just parading around just below the surface. He got right up close to the boat. Should have grabbed my camera. He just floated around, wasn't gonna hit anything...didn't want to do anything but cruise around..letting us know we was in "His" territory..pretty cool sight to see though. In 6 hours saw 2 Tigers, pretty good day! See yah on the water!!
