I drove into the seep lakes area on Monday to attempt to do some shore bass fishing. I drove into Lyle and Herman and both lakes were completely overgrown with weeds -- I didn't see any possible way to bank fish either of these lakes with the tremendous weed cover. There is a boat launch at Herman, so perhaps with a boat, in the middle of the lake it would be fish-able. Long story short, I didn't even wet a line. I turned around and headed to the Columbia for some bass fishing.
