I went out to Rotary again today to prove that I could actually catch a fish there after getting skunked a few days prior. I used a Yamamoto double tailed hula grub with a white, quarter ounce jighead. After working up and down the shore of the lake, I finally started fishing off of a little dock. There, I hooked into a couple of largemouth (on the smaller side). I fished from about 630-830, only catching those two. At least I can't say I got skunked this time. The lake was pretty darn busy, and weeds are beginning to choke the lake, making it extremely difficult to catch a fish without getting tangled. I have a feeling I won't be back anymore this year, but who knows.
