I hit up Rotary Lake tonight in search of some of the nice largemouth that I heard lurk there. I fished after work from about 730-830, using jigs and grubs, top water rapalas and rapala crank baits. I only had luck on the jigs. I only had three hits, one of which was a decent little bass, but I lost it when it broke the water. I know there are some beauties in here, it's just a matter of patience. I'll probably be back, seeing that this lake is only two miles from my house.
