Was on the water by 5:30pm and started with the texas rigged senko for nothing. Switched it up to drop shottting a 4" Yamamoto Kut Tail worm in Fading Watermelon w/ Black Flake and tagged 7 bass. Biggest went 1.2lb. and all the rest were under a pound. Water was stained but I could see the bottom in about 5-7ft of water and saw a lot of bass fry. I probably had 20 hits total and knew it was the little dinks to small to get the worm in their mouth. As I was fishing the drop shot I got hammered and thought It was going to be at least a 3lb. bass but to my amazement It was a trout. Nice fat bow measuring 17in. Great fight too! Almost made me want to go for trout. But I didn't. All fish were released. Great clear night with little to no breeze on the water. I was the only one on the lake all night. PERFECT! I tried other baits to entice the big ones to bite but couldn't get them figured out. Next time out I promise.
(I have pics of the trout and some of the bass but I can't find my USB cable to my camera. Once I get it I will upload some pics to this report)
