We were on the water about 6:30 pm and started to work the coves around the point from the public launch.
On the third cast I thought I snagged a log but then the fight was on. Landed a 5 lb largemouth. We the move along the rocky shoreline letting the wind push us parallell to the shore. It was pretty breezy that evening.
Over the next two hours my buddy caught 9 bass total, 1 - 4 pounder, 2 - 3 pounders, and the rest wrere .5 to 1 lb.

I caught 4 more bass, 2 - 2lbs & 2 small ones. All these fish were released to get bigger and be caught another day.
