Started with an olive bugger and sinking fly line, switched to floating fly line and one of my partners experimental buggers a bead head with burnt orange body and olive hackle wooley bugger, that was definitely the ticket. He has been using these at different lakes with a great amount of success. Had our limits of 12-14 inch rainbows in about 3 hours, lost three apiece and missed several others trying to eat a sandwich. We worked the lake from 6:30am until around 9:30-10:00am. The water here is very stained with about 8 inches of visibility, overcast, worked the top part of the water, slow troll, three other boats on the lake.
