We went out around 8am and trolled the perimeter of the lake. Meanwhile dialed in my new fish finder. Got three right off the bat over by the slides. Then nothing as we trolled the other side. I noticed that the side with no luck was around 22-26 feet deep and the side with three back to back was 30-35 feet deep. Then we started to work the middle a little more and got three more right away at depths between 30-41 feet deep. I didn't find anything deeper than that. Anyway I continued where I had the best luck and got two more but then the light sprinkle started turning to rain so we called it a day. All were released to catch another day of course. We only keep the big ones and these were all planters 10-12 inch.
