Went out to Terrell around 5pm. I realized when I got there that I brought the wrong gear so I did what I could with what I had. The entire place was packed. It was harder than tying your shoe with your eyes closed to find a spot so I decided to ask around and see what was the best bait to use, when the bite was on, etc. People weren't giving out their secret bait but in 3 hrs I saw 10 trout caught. Mainly on first dock, also lots of bait fish caught. Heard that there were some Bass caught but they weren't very big. Anyways, it was a nice day, mainly hung out but it was fun to watch the younger kids catch trout. Good luck to all! (Don't get discouraged if you get skunked one day out there. I've gone out there one day and caught a lot of fish, the next day I didn't catch a thing).

Nick, try orange PowerBait for both the trout and the catfish; green can be very good, too. Also, fish the docks EARLY on week days to avoid some of the humanity.

Nick,

I got the goods from some old guy who had 3 16"+ in his bucket. White Power Eggs. I also saw a nice one pulled in on Orange. The first dock is the hot spot. Always full. But, some family had a bunch of kids swimming off the end of the dock, jumping in and stuff, not cool. I got all set up to fish for trout but I can never get a good spot so i have been going after bass.
