Got to Kitsap Lake when the ramp opened at 6 and launched my Tracker. No luck on topwater in the pads so I headed down the eastern shore. Picked up a pound and a half bass on a shad colored Zoom fluke near some reeds on the shore. My second fish (1lb) came on a bluegill Rapala crankbait underneath a swimming platform and the third (nearly 3lb) on a green pumpkin Senko on a submerged tree. I had a couple other bites in that tree, but no more fish. Nice morning on the water, but it got hot and crowed pretty quickly.
