The Lake was very calm, the weather expected to be near 80, with not a breath of wind. We launched about 7:00 am from the public access. My wife rigged up a green wedding ring and I a green Woolley Bugger behind a clear casting bubble.
We trolled the shallows nearby and soon landed our first rainbow, a 14" triploid. Before long we were catching both Cutts and Trips. I would say the Woolley Bugger did better all in all. By 11:00 am we had released 7 mixed Cutts and Rainbows between 10" and 12" and kept 5 nice Rainbows between 12" and 14".
This was our first trip to this lake and it was very nice, (except don't expect the bathroom at the boatlaunch to be in very nice shape, it was quite dirty, with garbage scattered around it.)
