The fish were biting very light, but using minnows with a sliding sinker on the bottom seems to work the best be sure to kill the minnow to be legal. On this trip my partner caught 2 one 13 one 12,I got 2 also one nice rainbow 15in. 3 half pounds, and a 12in. Be sure to prepare for windy conditions on Wenas lake, fishing from the bank on this lake produces more fish than trolling.
