We went to fish lake this evening for a picnic and some fishing. We had a good time overall. And for the fishing part we caught 6 bluegill, much larger than the smaller sizes we had caught in the past. Also I got a video of my daughter casting and catching her own bluegill all by herself it was great.
The only bad part is when we arrived there was a man and a woman on the dock arguing and the woman was obviously intoxicated or on drugs. The woman kept yelling at a dog they had with them off-leash. The lady seemed to settle down, but was ruining the shoreline for most people including us at that time for our picnic. After the lady and guy settled down and just sat like they passed out on a picnic table, they both went to the restroom at the same time and came out 5 minutes later full of energy again and again obviously intoxicated. I called 911 and informed them off these people at Fish Lake in Cheney. The couple left the park after another 30 minutes and then two county deputies showed up about 2 hours after my call. I understand there are other things going on, but two hours seemed crazy too me. I have worked law enforcement in the past and could tell these people were not safe for themselves or anyone else around them.
