We fished the North finger of the lake opposite the launch. In our first pass we caught a small 4# Mack. Then we decided to check out some other parts of the Lake. In the Eastern finger we saw lots of fish elevated about 50' off the bottom. Either these were Macks feeding on Kokes or they were big kokes. We didn't see many Mack's on the bottom. I guess we should have stayed in the Northern bay. For more info on this lake contact Pend Oreille Sportsmen shop - John Campbell or Andy. They've caught large Macks here but I haven't figured them out yet. In the past we've had luck on a white jenny fly, blue matallic flatfish K15, cop colored K13, and a wedding ring tipped with a worm. I try anything that imitates a koke.
