Took my lovely bride, hit the lake at 3 pm, tried everything in the tackle box, no bites, no fish, first skunk of the season. Ok, what didn't work, #4 flat fish, #2 gold colorado spinner with fly (various patterns), #3 colorado spinner with worm, wedding ring with power bait, wedding ring with worm, fast troll, medium troll, Ok, stop trolling, hit the deep hole, power bait eggs, gulp orange, rainbow, worms, wife bored, we go home.

It's probably a good thing you didn’t catch anything...this lake is not open until June 1st. Next time check the reg’s before you go!
