First time at Wenas during fall draw down. Dramatic drop! Weather was Beautiful! Uncrowded, lotsa fish! Big ones, some Huge, rolling from time to time. Nice Rainbows and Browns! I only caught two really large Bows, and a bunch of pansizers, so the "hosses' are still there!
Best bait? Hint: caught with a Shiner Trap. The resort sells 'em.
Locals fishing were very friendly, and helpful with tips. Only Downer was the shoreline litter. I was dismayed at the trash, including tangled clumps of line, lying around the bank
Nice area, Fine fishin'. Already looking forward to returning next year!
