Well Hello again Bass guys and fellow fishermen.. As i stated i would, i went back to cottage lake to give it go ..All i got to say is " Mr four pounder is back" !! ..I fished the entire lakes shoreline this morning and was done by 1:30 . mainly stayed in about 5-10ft deep of water the whole day . Got on my first bass 3LB lmb about 20 minutes in to the start of the morning, He was laying right up against the bank not far from the fishing dock .so i told myself to follow that pattern for awhile ..one hour later and no bits , i sat back to re-think things as i looked around the lake notice that there was many wooden docks around, over 25 . so i decided to fish them . First dock i got to i skipped my worm about half way under it , moments later saw that line run and i set the hook. this bass was so hugh he barely moved when setting the hook, i pulled and he pulled harder, i pulled again and he went crazy , buried himself around the bottom of the dock supports , needless to say he won, i broke off (darn) he was monster...anywho continued too fish other docks and i came across this solid 4 ponder . this fish was all the way at the back of the dock , (i made a good Skip cast to get it all the way back) this time i put the hammer down , i horsed him out in about 5 sec. then we fought. This time i won .. Pretty fish ! .. I missed 2 more fish after that and that was pretty much it , i had did a 360 on lake .. I saw a few Nice ones swimming by from time to time .. This lake holds some really good Bass , i was very impressed .. since this was my first time fishing the lake i didn't know what to expect this morning... I honestly thought it was full of dinks ..well guess what ?? NOT TRUE!! this lake is alright with me and i will be back again this summer .. p.s did i forget to mention the color worm i was using ? i need to remember these things oneday .. lol ./ I plan to try Lake Joy in the morning ..till then ....Bigbass Dez stricks again !!!!!!

Nice catch Dez. I fished the lake several times but it has been a few years. I did catch a few in the 3 pound class but none of those "Break Off Monsters."
