Fished from 2 to 5pm with only one bite that I know of. Ran my yellow/black back Rapala DT-4 down beside a submerged stump and thought I snagged some weeds when my line started moving off to the side. Went to set the hook and the fish (probably 4lb or so) swam straight at my kayak and spit out the hook. She jumped and then took off. That was the only interest I had in any of the baits I threw all afternoon. But its a beautiful lake and the weather was great, so I'm sure I'll be back as it warms up. There were no other boats on the lake, but a few folks appeared to be fishing for trout from the bank.
