Went out yesterday and pretty much got skunked. Expect for this.... What is the name of this particular fish? I was trying for perch and every once in awhile I get one of these.

Looks like a Squawfish. There are lots of them in Lake Washington.

Do these pikeminnow usually scare of other fish like perch and bluegill or they scavenger fish?

Make sure you dispose of them. There is a bounty for them in the Columbia river, so they can't be doing any good in Lk Washington and other lakes they inhabit. Cut their throat ;)

Are they decent to eat?

I have heard of people eating them, but cannot imagine that they would be good. Also, last I saw, there was a warning that they should be eaten out of Lake Washington due to contaminants.

Correction: should NOT be eaten.

Cut a gill and throw them back. The crawdads, sculpins and sturgeon will eatem' up.
