my brother, friend, and i went fish at lake whatcom for three hours around 1-4pm. it was a sunny day but a little bit windy, which made it hard to sight fish, but we manage. l show up late around 2pm. my brother already caught 3 smallies before i show up ranging from 2-4lbs. they later pick me up at the boat launch and went to fish 2 other spots. we caught 3 at the first spot ranging from 2-5lbs. an hours later we headed to another spot and caught 3 more ranging from 1-4lbs. but the one i caught was close to 7lbs. over all it was a good day of fishing for a short period of time. the fish are still out of on their beds. we saw too other bass boat out and a couple other trout boat and a few annoying rec boater. they stay out of our way because we were fishing at shallow spots.
