me and my buddy were at round lake today fishing by the dam, we had OK success but the highlight of the day was when the guy next to us caught a huge i mean HUGE crappie it was about 14-15 inches and about 2-3 lbs! it was fatter than a pig! he was using a red/white crappie jig under a "cigar" bobber with about 3 feet of leader, he was using a twitch-real retrieve that was working quite well, he also had another huge crappie on but it got off the hook about 5 feet from shore, i wouldn't be surprised if it was the same fish because both were huge size! i am going back to the lake sometime this week and i am going to use the same set up he did and hopefully i will have similar success. good luck fishing
