I hit Rotary this weekend for two hours. There was a few fishermen due to the horrible and far off parking. Anyway, I decided to fish with my tried and true powerworm. I have fished many lakes with this new trout formula worm by Berkley, they come in a six inch size. I use light four pound test and a small wirey true turn hook. I set the rigging up weedless, like you do for bass, cast and twitch and hang on. I have caught jumbo brown, rainbows, cutthroat, steelhead and even a occasional bass with this system. Besides all that mumbo jumbo, I didn't see anyone get a bite or even a fish...well except me. The first fish was a nice rainbow, probably 4 pounds, he went for the twitch and sit. Then a few smaller trout, about 12 inches. Guys kept yelling, " Whatcha using over there?" And I'd say, "Beef Jerky!"
Anyway I caught my limit and left happy, but the fish are far and few between and on the south side of the lake. Fish slow, the fish are real picky
