Of course, a coming to Yakima trip, always includes a trip to Rotory. This was my favorite lake when I used to live her and the last time I was here, they hadn't stocked the lake yet. Well, having my luck, I heard they were going to stock in in the next couple of days. Darn, I was still to early, well my nephew and I gave it a try. I had to cast way in the heck out there, using a few power eggs and one salmon egg. It no sooner hit the water and blam I had a fish. The weeds were a big problem though. I hooked a lot of fish, but lost em in the weeds. I hooked one big ol fish, or at least he fought like a monster, then lost him in the weeds to. I filled my two fish limit, both ranging at about 13 inches. They were very dark and very red and tasted very good. Good luck.
