Went to check on the access to the lake today on my way back from a trip to western Washington. The road is still blocked by snow several hundred yards from the lake. I think it will be a couple of weeks until the road is clear. I walked in and found that a large tree had fallen this winter and is blocking the easy way to the pseudo boat launch. There are also a couple of new floating logs along with the usual ones blocking the launch. One of the logs looks like it has some large branches to get caught on the bottom and may take a significant amount of work to get it moved before you can launch a car topper. I did not fish but the sight of the lake has me pumped. I can't wait for things to thaw.
