got to the lake around 6:15 and fished to noon. right next to the launch there was a good pad field where i hooked into my one and only bass of the day, a decent 2lb+ on a spinnerbait. i didn't fish for bass much though as i spent most of my time fishing for crappie, which went so-so. between my dad and i we got about 15 crappie from 6"- 8", 10 perch about 8", and 5 trout from 8"-14". all the crappie, perch, and 2 trout were caught on mini jigs, the other 3 trout on wedding rings. anywhere there was a downed tree there was crappie, it was pretty tough to get them to hit though. all fish were released.
