The weather was supposed to be perfect today so we couldn't resist heading to Williams Lake. My daughter and I were on the water, wedding rings in tow, by 8:00am. Trolled the SE side of the lake all the way to the end with no results. Headed back up the other side, stopping half way up to change tactics. We crossed the lake to the cliffs and parked the boat in about 25 ft of water. The fish weren't big, mostly 10"-12", but they were very active. We put a small weight or two on the line with just a worm for bait, dropped to the bottom and brought it back up about 5 feet. Didn't take long to get close to our limits.

We headed back up to the north end of the lake towing red wedding rings with worms. We got a few hits along the way, and finished up our limits by the time Noon rolled around.

Excellent day for fishing (IF you brought the sunblock).

Me too. It's the lake I take my kids to when they just HAVE to catch a fish... it's almost a sure thing every time.

I set my new Motorola Q down on the bumper while we were taking the equipment off the boat. I got all the way back to Cheney before I noticed that it was missing. Drive back and found it sitting on the road by the Badger lake turnoff. Completely destoyed. 100% loss.
