Fished from 8 am to 11:30 still-fishing powerbait and marshmallows, caught my limit, mostly 12 inch rainbows. Fish aren't really aggressive, didn't see many trollers (maybe ten on the lake), fly and otherwise, with a fast bite. I did troll some with woolly bugger and later with triple teaser, one bite. Beautiful sunrise over Black Mountain. Eagles were chirping and the chainsaws whining to each other from a cut a thousand feet above the lake. While still-fishing something hit with a giant splash behind me-- sounded like somebody threw a frozen turkey into the water-- turned around to see a bald eagle lifting off with a foot-long trout. Usually I see the ospreys do the fish-dive and the eagles bullying the ospreys from their catch. Anyway, magnificent day.
