Just spent 3 days fishing at the Sun Lakes Chain. First mid morning arrived and trolled flat fish in frog color. Fishing at Park Lake was slow but we put in the time and kept 3 trout 13 to 16 inches, some 8-10 inchers released. Neighbors at our cabin did well shore fishing the 3 days. The second day trolled Blue Lake in the morning but only got a few bites and 3 small planters landed, all released. Tried flatfish, weddingrings, and Dicknite spoons. Very poor shallow launch her. We had the normal spring wind come and go but the water was not rough. Our last evening spent 2 hours on Deep Lake and had better luck, solid 11-13 inch fish. Some shore fishers did well here also. Missed the weekend crowds and had the lakes and boat ramps almost to our selves. This park has nice facilities, stainless steel cleaning station, clean restrooms and the boat ramp and docks where great. These lakes where rehabbed this year and still a little behind normal. Nice people running things, both at the store and State Park folks. Three days getting away to the east side was great. Good luck to all DH.
