Fished sprague from 7:00 AM till about 7:30 PM. We caught only 3 Walleye (18", 19-1/2", 21-1/2") on three different methods. I am convinced that the population is seriously down. Nevertheless, the fish are fat and healthy. As a side note, we caught two Channel Catfish during the day while fishing for Walleye. One was a good 6 lb., while the 2nd was an incredible 13-1/2 pounder. They were also very healthy. One sub 12" bas was caught and released as well.

I would love to see what the Fish and Wildlife would find in the lake if they got of their fat A**es and electro shocked the lake. I'll bet that the Crappie rule changes came two years too late, that the Walleye size change that happened two years ago came two years too late, that the paltry number of trout they plant cannot even be found, and that like everything else they do, it will take two more years to find another excuse for their lack of proactive management! But for the good news, instead of doing their job, they are going to build a $3,000,000 complex (Spokane Valley, WA) to "administrate" their fine(???) work. It seems to me that this would be better spent in field research and enforcement and not buildings and press releases.
