Hit McMurray up this morning with the float tube. Started out throwing a Kastmaster and a black rooster tail with only one bump. Switched over to a white 64th oz.. tube jig with a half a chartreuse power worm which turned out to be the winning pattern. Lots of surface activity and most fish were taking the jig on the sink. All in all I caught around 20 with 5 kept for the table. All the fish were probably close to a pound but great fighters and acrobats for their size. There was probably 5 or 6 boats on the water and one pontoon. This was my first trip to McMurray and I will definitely be back.
