Opening Day 2007 is in the books. Took my son James out for the afternoon. We trolled wooley buggers in purple and green on medium and deep sinking lines, varying amount of line out and speed of rowing. The results were very good, catching and releasing several planters plus three nice 17" range triploids. James' comment "This is so much fun" just sealed the deal. Hope everyone else had as good a day as we did. Temps 60s, mild to light breeze, partly sunny. Only weird thing at the end of the day - two guys pull up with a full size Bass Tracker bass boat. I asked and the owner said that he read "on the web site" that only electrics were allowed, so they were going to keep the big motor out of the water. I told them to proceed at their own risk of being ticketed. I imagine if they put that big boat in they got more than a few comments from all the tubers and pontoon anglers on the water!
